Where Ancient Heritage Meets Future Innovation for a World Reborn in Peace.
Membership and Representation
The UAN’s membership has grown to encompass 160+ Indigenous Nations and territories, representing the collective voice of over 300 million Indigenous peoples across African, Andean, American, European, Caribbean, Oceanic, and Asian regions. Each member nation brings millennia of ancestral wisdom, sustainable governance systems, and profound ecological knowledge to our global alliance.
Indigenous Nations are admitted to UAN membership through a collaborative process that honors traditional protocols of recognition and consensus-building. Membership is open to all Indigenous Nations that demonstrate commitment to the organization’s founding principles of ancestral wisdom, environmental stewardship, and peaceful cooperation.
